Cubia is ... well, he's never really okay but he's certainly not too badly off. His recent memory of his childhood changed everything for him. So now he is painfully aware of what he is, what his purpose and fully adopted the idea that "if you're not with him, you're against him". Therefore, Cubia is extremely insecure with people now! Of course, no one is going to be able to notice that except for maybe Citrine and a few handful who know what's Cubia like.

Which brings me to: Kaworu and Mytho.

Kaworu is someone who Cubia hates and desperate to keep. Because Kaworu cares about him, despite all the things he knows about him! And Cubia is terrified of that feeling and at the same time, terrified of losing it. His automatic reaction is to cage it, to keep it and hoard it any way he can. But obviously that's not going to work because he's pretty much powerless! Still, they worked out ... some kind of arrangement (that... I don't even know how to properly define because it is just plain weird) where they're sort of working on their feelings together. And since Kaworu pledged his feelings to Cubia, he feels slightly secure about Kaworu and his indictment in Cubia's life at the moment.

Mytho is similarly represented but with less hating! Though it started off this way (Cubia being jealous and resentful of Mytho's lack of feelings and at the same time, feeling gloriously superior to him), Mytho has become a bit of a security blanket to Cubia. Mytho says nice things about him which really helps Cubia's shoddy self-esteem, so he takes advantage of Mytho whenever he can, and if that means helping him out and being kind, so be it! He hasn't really noticed that he has developed something for Mytho and when confronted with it, he'll... bolt :D.

So Cubia is a bitter hot mess of feelings and trying not to hate on everyone at Aather and working more diligently towards his end game.

So working with Onyx suits Tybalt just fine. He has zero regrets for what he did and even if there were awful consequences, he'd do it again. However, he realized that everything he does now is tentative and it's both frustrating and annoying to him because it feels like he's been written off for pursuing a goal, a goal that gives his life meaning! So he's ready to snap off people's heads if they question him any more.

At the same time, his memories are making his life difficult. He's extremely angry and lost due to being in Aather, and only Juliet's presence helps him rein it in. He's not all that motivated with anything anymore and he has problems trying to fit people into his world view. His "world" is growing as there are people he feels need his help and Tybalt likes helping people, even if he'll deny it to his dying day (and even if he's terrible at it). So really, he might avoid everyone except Juliet, Vanille and Cass because they're the only ones not giving him the third degree.

Ha. Ha. Ha. I have no idea what I'm doing with Tybalt and I get the feeling I really STRETCH his characterisation a lot, but whenever I play him, I always have a blast. I don't even know, I'm just. Really gay for Tybalt, you guys :( He lights up my life.
