He would have been more receptive to it if he was fully canon-updated, but he's not! Thus, he seems Kaworu as an extrem eyesore and the person he wants to make suffer as much as he can. He's also jealous of Kaworu's lack of feelings because Cubia doesn't want to feel anything! He just wants to survive and all those pesky feelings get in the way of that! Ultimately, Cubia is very much blinded with hatred and anger for Kaworu that he's not willing to understand or be receptive to anything that Kaworu does. It's very much plain DIEDIEDIEDIE feeling, like the kind he has for BlackRose.
